Brian qualified as mechanical engineer, and until a few years ago worked for The AA, managing their personal computer development teams. After taking early retirement he now runs his own small house and garden maintenance business. He has been a member of the Vine Church for 24 years, carrying out the role of Administrator for the past 14 years and was appointed as an Elder in 2005. He is married to Janet who works in the church office and they have 2 daughters and 3 grandsons. His interests include watercolour painting, gardening and following Reading FC's rise to fame!
Adrian is originally from South Wales, is married to Anita and they have four daughters and one granddaughter. They have been members of the Vine Church since moving to Odiham in 1988 and Adrian has been an Elder since 2003. Adrian works for BMW Motorcycles in Bracknell and has spent his working life in the motor industry since leaving university in Wales with a geology degree. When he gets any spare time he enjoys motorcycling and motorsport.
Janet is married to Brian and has been a member of The Vine Church for 24 years. She began working for the church in 1994 as course administrator for ‘Equipped For Ministry’ and today works in the church office as administration secretary. Before joining the church staff Janet worked as a legal secretary. Family are an important part of Janet's life and she enjoys spending time with her three grandsons aged 12, 10 and 4. She also enjoys walking and lots of holidays with Brian!
Olivia is a qualified pharmacy technician, and spent almost six years at a hospital in Guildford until she started her degree in 2005. She moved to be part of the Vine Church in September 2004 after moving from the Newfrontiers church in Woking, which she had been a part of since she was a child. Olivia helps to oversee all the youthwork that takes place at the church and is currently undertaking a degree in Theology and Youthwork at Moorlands College in Christchurch, which she is due to complete in the summer of 2008.
Andy studied law and was embarking on training to become a solicitor before sensing the call into Church leadership. He has now been involved in "full time" Church ministry for 17 years and has been leading The Vine Church for the past 8 years. He is married to Kate and they have 3 children aged 7, 5 and 2. He is also a Governor at Mayhill Junior School. When he gets a spare minute he enjoys sailing and walking.
